Interview
Q1. What was your inspiration and drive behind your latest book?
My experiences in an abusive environment. Writing helped me to immerse myself and portray my emotions in other words, through creativity. I can simply imagine myself doing what the protagonist did and look at her perspective.
Q2. What is your writing kryptonite?
Weakness? Change of scenes. I can arrange how it would work but it might take me a few moments to where should I put the other scene or when to cut some specific line.
Q3. If you could tell your younger self anything, what would it be?
I’m proud of you for not giving up. Even though your first composed book in teen years sucked, look at how will you grow up! We can frown at each other’s book now.
Q4. Tell us about an early experience where you learned that words have power.
I was in the 6th or 7th grade at the time when I was dedicated and desperate on reading eBooks. I realised the impact of words when I grew addicted to the point that I literally bring my phone everywhere just so I can read, even now as I’m going through the interview!
Q5. What does success look like to you?
Success is not just about a bright future, published books, but how chapters and books I have written helped me to be the author I am today. Success is satisfaction.
Q6. Tell us what we should look out for from you in the future
More gore/thriller/horror genres that will make you sit straighter on your chair and have proper posture because of how intense my books will be. Sadly, my current book has its chapter deleted so stay tune for my future work!
